Your excursion begins with a private transfer from the hotel to Florence train station to take a high-speed train to Rome. On arrival at Termini station in Rome a private transfer will take you to the Colosseum, the largest ancient Amphitheatre ever built, and the Arch of Constantine. From here you will start on a guided walking tour which allows you to discover Rome as an open air museum.
You will pass the Roman Forum to reach the Vittoriano complex dominating the majestic Piazza Venezia.
From there you will walk through the inner little streets of Rome through interesting sites which cannot be reached easily by coach. You will be viewing monuments of immeasurable beauty and importance which includes the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps.
Time for lunch and for some shopping at leisure before meeting for the return transfer to Termini train station. On arrival in Florence a private transfer will take you back to the hotel.
