EJ · Cefalù Day Trip – Coastal Charm & Cultural Treasures - Group 3

This morning, after meeting your English-speaking guide and boarding your motor coach, you will travel to the east of Sicily and reach the charming town of Cefalù, located on the northern coast of the island. Romans, Arabs, Normans — all of these civilizations have left their imprint on this town, which is renowned for its famous Norman Cathedral, built by Roger II in 1131. Leave the bus and continue on foot for a walking tour of this attractive place, with its narrow streets, colorful shops, antiques, and ceramics. You will see the ancient washhouse, where in past centuries women used to do their laundry, and visit the Cathedral, where it is possible to admire, among other treasures, the stunning mosaics. After some free time for shopping or a pleasant cappuccino or ice cream break, walk back to the bus for the return drive to Palermo.
